Wir brauchen keine 60 Sekunden, um uns f\u00fcr Mittwoch zu verabreden. Ich fahre die knappen 200 km von Taumarunui \u00fcber Lake Taupo nach Rotorua. Die Gegend ist geologisch sehr aktiv, fast an jeder zweiten Ecke steigt Dampf aus dem Erdinneren auf, es riecht teilweise sehr schweflig. Toni ist ein angenehmer und smarter Typ, er kennt Geschichten und die Geschichte der Umgebung, er zeigt mir die Thermalpools, die Mudpools und den ehemaligen Secret Spot ein paar Kilometer ausserhalb. Mittlerweile ist der etwas bekannter und in Hot-n-Cold umbenannt, hier fliessen ein kalter und ein heisser Strom zusammen, man kann die Temperatur schick durch ein bisschen herumpaddeln regulieren. Dabei soll man immer sch\u00f6n den Kopf \u00fcber Wasser halten, in dem Gew\u00e4sser leben Am\u00f6ben, die ihre Existenz dadurch rechtfertigen, unvorsichtigen Tauchern durch die Nase direkt ins Gehirn zu kriechen und dort m\u00f6glichst viel an grauen Zellen zu verschlingen, bis man komplett verbl\u00f6det ganz schnell dahinscheidet. Anschliessend besuchen wir die <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newzealand.com\/travel\/sights-activities\/scenic-highlights\/history-culture\/scenic-highlight-details.cfm\/businessid\/68743.html\" target=\"_blank\">Ohinamutu-Siedlung<\/a>, eine der ersten Maori-Niederlassungen in Aotearoa inklusive Kultst\u00e4tten, Versammlungshaus, sp\u00e4ter hinzugef\u00fcgter christlicher Kirche und Friedhof. Die Kirchenfenster sind teilweise bemalt, auf einem scheint ein Maori-Jesus \u00fcbers Wasser zu laufen, hell yeah.<\/p>\n<p><a
